Mr. Jenks was on active duty during Pearl Harbor. He recalls the Battle of The Bulge, "we went from a 1,000 bed hospital to a 25,000 bed hospital." Mr. Jenks specialized in burn, head, and chest injuries. He served almost 5 years active duty and 10 years active Reserve.
